Documenting Your Provision
Throughout Bowdoin’s history, alumni, parents, and friends have secured the College’s future by including it in their philanthropic plans. Gift planning arrangements play an important role in helping to ensure that Bowdoin remains an exceptional liberal arts college for generations to come.
Sharing information about your gift plan for Bowdoin ensures that your wishes are understood by the College. You will be welcomed into the Bowdoin Pines Society which is comprised of over 1,000 of the College’s most devoted alumni, parents and friends who have provide for it in their long-range plans through beneficiary designations, provisions in their wills or trusts and other legacy arrangements.

Completing the Form
To inform us of your plans please click on the link above. When you do, you will enter the Office of Gift Planning’s secure Docusign® portal. Here’s how it works:
- Enter your name and email address and hit “Begin Signing.”
- A code will be sent to the email address you entered for you to provide on the next screen.
- Enter the code and you will be taken to the Office of Gift Planning’s documentation form.
- Complete the form and click the "Finish" button.
- The Office of Gift Planning will receive your form and send you an acknowledgement welcoming you to the Bowdoin Pines Society.
Quick Notes:
- Some fields in the form are required and others are recommended. We recommend completing all the fields on the form, as it is important for the College to have contact information for your next-of-kin and personal representative.
- You will be required to upload an image of your provision mentioning Bowdoin to complete the documentation process.
